Truck Driver (MR minimum) (Smeaton Grange)

About the business and the role Well established privately owned business experiencing strong growth. Looking for a dedicated truck driver with a good work ethic and strong team work mentality. This is a full time position for a driver to settle into a role, learn and meet new people and deal with regular clients. The run that this driver will be doing is a South Coast Run that will mean you need to be on site to pick up your truck which will be pre-loaded at 3am and getting on the road by 4am. You will be regularly expected to work 8 to 10 hour days and overtime will be paid for these hours. Job tasks and responsibilities Restrain and check over truck, deliver materials from factory to site. All trucks are pre loaded by a loading team before you arrive. Assist around factory when on down time, plenty of opportunity for paid overtime. Needs to have attention to detail and be thorough in checking off loads and paperwork. Must be able to read and comprehend paperwork provided with loads. Capable of doing physical work assisting loading and unloading trucks Skills and experience MR Truck Licence
