Cafe Head Chef – XS Espresso Camden Full time | Permanent 45 hours per week XS Espresso Camden is looking for an experienced and motivated Cafe Head Chef to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, leading a team, and consistently delivering high-quality food and service. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals to XS Espresso standards
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Support menu planning and quality control
- Train and support new kitchen team members
- Help create a positive and productive team setting Skills & Experience
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong communication and leadership skills
