Senior Business Services Accountant – GPL Partners (Gregory Hills Office) Location: Gregory Hills, NSW Position: Full-Time | Senior Accountant Experience: Minimum 4-5 years GPL Partners has expanded and opened a brand new office in Gregory Hills, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. About the Role As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of business and individual clients and deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, including:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for multiple corporate and trust entities
- Tax planning and advisory services for clients
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS
- Payroll tax declarations
- Workers compensation declarations
- Experience using Xero accounting software and tax platforms
- Liaising with the ATO and relevant authorities
- Managing and mentoring junior staff About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CA, CPA, or currently working towards qualification
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in public practice
- Demonstrated experience with Xero and tax compliance platforms
- Strong ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- SMSF administration experience preferred but not essential What We Offer
