**About the area** The School of Allied Health at UWA is a research-intensive academic organisation committed to excellence in research, teaching, and community partnerships. The Eye Health Centre of Western Australia (EHCWA), located within the School, is a new state-of-the-art public eye clinic, supporting both clinical service delivery and the Doctor of Optometry program. Our vision is to improve eye health services through integrated clinical practice, education, and research.
About the opportunity
- Provide front-line administrative and reception support for patients, clinic staff, and students at EHCWA.
- Manage clinic appointment bookings, accounts, and patient records with high attention to detail.
- Support clinical teaching activities and assist with clinic operations and events.
About you
- Strong administrative skills, including handling bookings, payments, and client service delivery.
- Proficient in computer systems such as word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse people in a busy, client-facing environment.
- Organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality service standard.
- Committed to delivering professional, empathetic customer service to clients and clinic users.
