Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our amazing kitchen team at Nelson Bay Bowling Club. We have a great opportunity our latest club
THE BRAND
Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 20 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, engaging and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning
Robust emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
Ability to contribute to menu planning
Immaculate presentation and grooming
Ability to handle large service numbers
Exceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
Honest and results focused
- able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
Should be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions
KEY QUALITIES
A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Be versatile with working hours
A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour
