Maintenance Manager (Shoal Bay)

Maintenance Manager – Ramada Resort by Wyndham Shoal Bay, NSW North Coast Responsibilities
- Oversee, coordinate, and complete the day‑to‑day operation of the Maintenance department.
- Maintain high standards for unit repairs, external property, and resort common area maintenance in line with Body Corporate budgets and caretaker agreements.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories, fire safety records, and associated paperwork.
- Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a management role.
- High level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building and pool maintenance).
- Experience in Strata property management, holiday letting, pools, and caretaker agreements highly regarded.
- Experience with hotel/resort refurbishment highly regarded.
- Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic OH&S; principles and chemical handling.
- Results‑oriented with strong time‑management and organisational skills, ability to multitask and use initiative.
- Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operations.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, school and public holidays.
- Trade qualification desirable.
