We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our teams working across the Gold Coast.

Service with a smile is our mantra. In this position you will support the Housekeeping Manager in the following areas.

Responsibilities Setting up key tasks for yourself and the team Leading team briefings to address upcoming challenges Collaborating with hotel leadership on short- and long-term quality metrics Ensuring rooms are delivered to the hotel on time for guest arrival Maintaining communication with the team and providing resourcing as needed Handling administration related to Health and Safety, billing, and rostering Delivering guest service with a smile Handing over effectively to the team Closing the day knowing tomorrow will bring current challenges

Qualifications Strong appetite to build and sustain relationships Passion for striving for excellence Time management and efficient work habits Understanding of annualised budgets Commitment to providing a protected workplace Approach to compliance that is no-nonsense Well‑presented problem‑solving attitude Previous experience within a 5‑star hotel Ability to work weekends and public holidays when required
