Common Area Housekeeper / Cleaner Avani Broadbeach Residences is expanding our housekeeping department with Full‑Time & Part‑Time opportunities for a Common Area Housekeeper / Cleaner. Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring they are always hygienic and visually appealing.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- all training and tools provided.
- Building strong, professional relationships with team members and guests to foster a positive, respectful work environment. Shift Details
- Full time & part time available.
- Monday to Sunday rotating roster.
- Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
- Weekend availability essential. Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation) Monday – Friday: $24.95 per hour Saturday: $31.19 per hour Sunday: $37.43 per hour Qualifications
- Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
