As an Event Services Assistant Floor Manager, you will have the opportunity to bring extraordinary events to life within our world‑class events centre. From intimate gatherings to large‑scale celebrations, you will be the driving force behind flawless execution, ensuring every aspect is meticulously delivered to perfection. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your event and leadership expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast. Please note that this is initially a 12‑month max‑term contract opportunity. A few of your responsibilities:
- Manage the smooth operation of events, from setup to execution, ensuring flawless coordination and timely delivery
- Lead a dedicated events team, fostering a collaborative and guest‑centric workplace
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and exceeding expectations
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations What we are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience, preferably within an events or conferencing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to problem‑solve and the capacity to remain cool under pressure
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational demands
