Job Description As a Personal Banking Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers to Westpac and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored banking solutions. You will utilize your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in-person and over the phone – and refer them to specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a part‑time, branch‑based role of 20 hours per week, typically from 9am to 4:45pm, with days to be agreed upon with the successful candidate. Requirements
- Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer‑facing or phone‑based role, with experience working to targets.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations.
- Comfortable working toward sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
- Numerical capability, with proficiency in cash handling and counting, and the ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy.
- An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies. No banking experience? No problem.
