Our client is a privately owned Australian business supplying premium equipment to the automotive and heavy vehicle sector. About the Role
This is a hands‑on Senior Finance Officer role with ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function. You will manage AP and AR, complete reconciliations and month‑end reporting, and ensure accounts are accurate and running smoothly. You will also mentor a junior Accounts and Admin Assistant and act as the escalation point for accounts queries. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, structure and being trusted to run the accounts in a busy SME.
Key responsibilities include:
End‑to‑end AP and AR, bookkeeping and reconciliations
Credit management, debt collection and month‑end journals
Sales and purchase order processing
Foreign currency transactions and FX monitoring
Supporting and mentoring a junior accounts team member
About You
You are an experienced Accounts Officer who is organised, reliable and comfortable working across all aspects of bookkeeping. You communicate clearly with suppliers and customers and take pride in accuracy and compliance. This role is full‑time and onsite in Yatala.
You will bring:
Proven experience across AP, AR and end‑to‑end bookkeeping
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Confidence with month‑end journals and reconciliations
Qualified written and verbal communication
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
