Australian Training Company (ATC) is currently on the search for a agile Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice to join our award-winning client organisation.

You will learn to install various types of tiles on walls and floors, both internally and externally, to create protective and decorative finishes. You will work under the guidance of experienced tilers, where you will learn to read plans, perform measurements and calculations and use tools and equipment safely and effectively.

So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?

Surface preparation

removing old tiles, grout & adhesives

sanding and filling cracks and holes

lifting and carry cement/tiles

applying adhesive

laying Tiles

Cutting & Shaping Tiles

using tile cutters to shape tiles to fit edges and corners

Waterproofing

Grouting and Finishing

Follow Plans and Specifications

Learn Specialist Skills

What are we looking for?
