Our Client is currently seeking a Retail Centre Manager to look after their biggest asset as it is owned by their most key Landlord. With responsibility for the management of a retail asset in the Gold Coast area, you will provide leadership as a senior member of the business. This is your chance to work for an industry leader who is providing property management and facilities services across commercial, retail, and industrial assets. They have notable managements and are experiencing consistent growth within the Gold Coast and Brisbane region. This role is only doing the Retail Centre Management side and not maintenance as there is a facilities manager and an operations manager.

The Role

We are seeking a Retail Centre Manager to look after a shopping centre in the North Gold Coast area. With responsibility for the centre management your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Tenant Engagement working in conjunction with Asset Manager.

Initial & ongoing lease renewal and any other lease discussions, as they may arise.

Day to Day Rental Arrears Management.

Lease and Compliance Tracker Management.

Risk Management

Property Inspections.

Strong financial, budgeting, and forecasting ability

Ability to lead and coach team of operations and administration managers

Strong inter personnel ability, verbal and written communication skills

Lease negotiation skills with a strong sense of conflict resolution

Maintaining a robust personal brand, presenting with a professional and polished image

Understand retailer profitability

Understand property and accrual accounting principles

Supervise and oversee all marketing activities

A passion to embrace personal continual improvement

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Minimum 2 years retail centre management experience within the industry

Experience in retail property management including exposure to finance and budgeting, operations, marketing, and leasing

Solid knowledge and understanding of all property management disciplines

Retail Managers will be considered
