Surf Hardware Full Time Sales Assistant – Sideways Surf | Ashmore Overview Join the largest group of family‑run surf outlet stores in Australia. Sideways opened its first doorway in 2007 and now operates seven locations across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Sydney, stocking hundreds of brands in clothing, wetsuits, footwear, surf/skate accessories, and performance surfboards. Responsibilities This is a full‑time permanent position that will require availability over weekends and public holidays.
- Offer exceptional customer service and a warm, friendly shopping experience.
- Provide knowledge of all surfing products to customers.
- Assist with stock control and merchandise display.
- Act responsibly in compliance with the store's procedures. Qualifications
- Previous retail experience, preferably in the surf industry.
- Minimum of 6–12 months retail experience required.
- Experience surfing and knowledge of surf products.
- Active surfing experience is mandatory for this role.
- Ability to provide a genuine and unique customer experience.
- Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, KPIs and stock‑loss targets.
- Experience working closely with a developed team.
