Project Manager, IT
Location: Gold Coast or Brisbane.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for delivering major technology and business transformation projects across dnata catering & retail’s Australian operations, acting as a trusted project lead and partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, Finance, and vendors to achieve high‑quality outcomes. A key focus is the end‑to‑end delivery of a current HRIS—from design and build through to testing, implementation, and adoption—while managing risk, ensuring robust governance, and supporting a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle delivery, from planning to implementation and benefits realisation.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements.
Provide clear project reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
Partner with business owners to understand requirements and maintain alignment.
Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project forums.
Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate analysts, technical leads, and contributors.
Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners.
Support change management and training to drive user adoption.
About You
Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
Solid capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing vendors.
Proven track record delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Exposure to change management and training practices.
Experience in catering, aviation, manufacturing, or hospitality (desirable).
Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel interstate as required.
Flexibility to work hours aligned to project and operational needs.
