Guest Services Attendant (Housekeeping) | Mermaid Waters Hotel

We’re searching for a Housekeeper known for their work ethic and efficiency to join our team at Mermaid Waters. Primary focus on housekeeping and room presentation.

Rotational shift position mainly from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, offering great daytime hours. Adaptable availability across Mondays to Fridays, weekends and public holidays as required by the roster. If you have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in creating an immaculate, welcoming workplace for our guests, we want to hear from you.

A day in the life of a Guest Services Attendant:

Making every room feel like home away from home

Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules

Help the Publican know what needs repair and maintenance throughout accommodation

Make our guests stay special by working with the Front Office team to deliver special requests

Inherent requirements:

Hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
