Solution Architect – HSI Solv is a senior position within the demand function of Customer Operations. The role will focus on the pre‑sales phase, working closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their unique challenges and design comprehensive, innovative technical solutions. Known for solid product knowledge, the architect will enhance the customer experience through solutions, build functional technical capability, and drive innovation through design principles. The role also includes a Solv implementation component, providing assistance on complex customer projects such as self‑insurance, leading proofs of concept, and providing integration expertise and solution consultancy. As a senior specialist, the architect will assist in up‑skilling other implementers by sharing knowledge and experience. The role is ideal for a highly motivated, customer‑centric individual who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and plays a crucial role in driving business growth through expert solutioning. Essential Functions Stakeholder Interaction
- Work closely with stakeholders to align and support product and project goals and associated technical constraints.
- Present and communicate injury and claims management solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders (internal and external).
- Proactively engage with prospects, clients, and partners to gather feedback and refine solutions accordingly. Solution Design
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
- Design scalable and reusable solutions.
- Provide input into redesigning how Solv manages self‑insurance implementation to drive efficiencies.
- Provide input into evaluating and refining frameworks, methodologies, and processes to improve HSI Solv Customer Implementation experience.
- Architect robust, scalable, and tailored technical solutions that address market needs in both the scheme and self‑insurance spaces, leveraging the full suite of products and services. Project Delivery
- Support complex project delivery items such as specialty consultancy and multi‑state self‑insurance.
- Document requirements and scope enterprise projects, including complex change requests.
- Assist with establishing revised change‑request scoping strategies and processes.
- Support escalated customers with expert advice and remediation through the solution. Capability & Technical Leadership
- Provide input to other delivery departments for improvements to Solv solutions, ensuring these adhere to Implementation methodology and principles and meet technical and market requirements.
- Assist in bid management for enterprise solutions.
- Assist in establishing services bid‑management processes.
- Proof of concepts.
- Provide accurate technical scoping and effort estimations for proposed solutions, contributing to pricing strategies and project planning. Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with product developments and how they relate to industry trends.
- Drive innovation by proposing new ideas and approaches for technical solutions and process improvements.
- Identify potential revenue‑generating opportunities through engagement with prospects. Requirements Competencies

- Pre‑sales experience.
- Experience supporting and delivering software implementations.
- Minimum 5 years of Solv implementation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms.
- Experience supporting technical teams.
- Experience supporting both medium and enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Expertise with database technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite. Perks
