Senior Software Engineer (Saas/Health) (Gold Coast), City of Gold Coast

Overview Sandwai is an award-winning software development company providing high-quality software products and services to aged and disability health care providers nationally. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in our Varsity Lakes (QLD) office. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain B2B SaaS applications and mobile applications using technologies such as Laravel, Vue, REST APIs, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to co‑design new solutions, implement enhancements and new functionality across the platform.
- Improve quality control processes and technologies to ensure high reliability and compliance.
- Liaise with solution and technology partners and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor less experienced developers and provide technical guidance.
- Build solutions that positively impact aged and disabled care recipients through scheduling, route optimisation, billing, and clinical care features. Qualifications
- Experience with PHP or a similar server‑side language.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, including MySQL or SQL.
- Experience with a reactive front‑end framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular.
- Experience with Laravel is preferred.
- Solid analytical ability to debug, analyse and solve complex problems.
- Experience with GitHub or similar source‑control platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills.
- Motivated and detail‑oriented. Preferred Skills
- Laravel, Vue.js, Docker, Flutter or other mobile development experience.
- Experience with Zoho Desk or similar. Benefits
