Job Title: Excavator Operators – Piling & Ground Engineering Location: QLD & NSW – MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AWAY FROM HOME Rate: Competitive hourly rate + penalties and allowances Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Start Date: ASAP Due to company growth and recently awarded projects, PCA Ground Engineering are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our crews on major piling and civil construction projects across Queensland and New South Wales. About the Role You'll be operating excavators in support of piling operations, with exposure to a range of attachments and techniques. This is hands-on work in a specialist environment, and the right operator will grow their skills alongside some of the best rigs and equipment in the industry. What you'll be doing
- Operating excavators across piling support and civil construction activities
- Working with a range of attachments including augers, grabs, buckets and various excavator attachments.
- Supporting piling rig setup, spoil management, and site preparation
- Coordinating with rig operators and site supervisors to maintain efficient production
- Maintaining equipment and completing pre-start checks
- Adhering to WHS standards at all times
- Duties to work as a team which may at times require general labouring duties or other works within your competency/ Skillset What we're looking for
- 3 + years’ experience with current and valid excavator ticket
- Full Clean car licence (HR licence desirable)
- Proven experience operating excavators on construction or civil sites
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willing and able to work away on roster Desirable skills/experience
- Experience in a sheet piling, driven piles, or ground engineering environment
- Dogging or rigging ticket
- EWP or Working at Heights ticket
- HR/MR licence
