Job Overview An AO5 Business Analyst vacancy is available in the Debt Management Centre (DMC) division of the Queensland Revenue Office. You will leverage your expertise and data analysis skills to examine debtor behaviours, installment plan data, and DMC call statistics to identify innovative business improvement opportunities aimed at enhancing the client experience and reducing the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) debt pool. This role will either be based at our Ipswich or Southport office. The preferred location will be discussed with the suitable applicant. This position offers flexible work options and access to qualified growth pathways. Your Typical Day as a Business Analyst
- Utilise data analysis tools to extract and analyse Call Centre and collections data, facilitating the development of reports to articulate business needs, and enable the development of strategies and operational solutions.
- Collaborate with Senior Management and technology teams to design and improve processes according to business requirements and timeframes.
- Analyse and challenge practices and procedures to improve operational effectiveness based on current and emerging industry trends. Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with analytics tools and platforms such as Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, Excel, PowerApps, Power Automate), Genesys, eMite, or similar.
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods such as Erlang C.
- Knowledge of Paginated Report Builder, Azure BI, SQL Server, Tableau, Databricks, or similar.
- Experience in interpreting requests, preparing detailed data, and presenting timely information, including the creation and validation of complex reports, submissions, and documentation.
