RPS is a leading Landscape Architecture consultancy, challenging the traditional separation between natural and built environments and helping our clients harness the productivity, liveability and sustainability benefits of inspired landscape design. Our award-winning team is looking to grow, and we are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to be based at our Gold Coast office who is eager to build their professional experience across a broad range of projects. You will be responsible for providing appropriate design solutions and documentation and ensuring client requirements are achieved in a cost‑efficient manner. As a part of a multidisciplinary group, you will also have the chance to work closely with colleagues in urban design, planning, surveying, project management, heritage and environment to name a few. As a Landscape Architect in our Gold Coast office, you will have exposure to the full landscape design process across various industry sectors in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT and Victoria. You will work with our award-winning team that has completed projects including:
- Southport Aquatic Centre
- Fish Lane Town Square, South Brisbane
- Queensland Country Bank (North Queensland) Stadium
- Cardwell Foreshore
- Yarrabilba and Flagstone Town Centres ABOUT THE JOB Assist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through the on‑time delivery of a quality product. Work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary design team. Prepare plans and documents for projects using computer‑based tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign and similar. Produce computer‑based diagrams, renders and imagery using Revit, Lumion, Photoshop and similar. Assist the project lead in:
- Stakeholder management internally and externally with clients, contractors, sub‑consultants and industry bodies. This role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain full project exposure and work alongside our close‑knit Gold Coast team. If you are motivated to learn, grow and build your capability, this role will suit you well. YOU WILL HAVE A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice is advantageous.
- Efficient user of relevant computer packages, i.e. Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop required.
- Comprehension of other computer packages such as Blender, Sketch‑up, Lumion is advantageous. You must have citizenship, PR status or a visa that entitles you to work full time on an ongoing basis for at least three years. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
