Lead Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer (City of Gold Coast)

Job Description The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated. As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increase, the water industry must continue to build resilience and lead from the front. Lead Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer Based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast, you will lead the successful technical delivery of wastewater treatment projects for our clients including new and upgraded STPs, reuse schemes and biosolids projects from concept to detailed design and project delivery. Responsibilities
- Play a leadership role in process planning and design for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Deliver high-quality process investigations, analysis and design across the full design lifecycle.
- Be recognized as a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Lead and win work and market‑led innovative offerings; take a leading role in driving proposals and our pursuit strategy.
- Provide technical governance / design reviews.
- Mentor and coach developing team members. Qualifications
- Engineering degree and RPEQ, or ability to obtain.
- Significant relevant experience in wastewater treatment process engineering, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the operation, planning and/or design of wastewater treatment process infrastructure and associated works.
- Experience with leading and supporting delivery of bids for local and national clients.
- Desire to support the development and mentoring of our graduate and developing engineers.
