- Looking to step into a leadership role on the ground floor of a new advisory and coaching model? We are partnering with a progressive, leading‑edge boutique Gold Coast accounting firm with clients across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The firm supports SME businesses and allied health professionals (up to $10M turnover) through a blend of CFO advisory and business coaching services. They are now launching a new structured business coaching framework, including private coaching, group programs and a structured "business freedom" model designed to help owners reduce overwhelm, improve profitability, build solid teams and create real work‑life balance. This is a rare opportunity to join at the beginning of this evolution and play a key role in shaping the service offering. The Role:
- Deliver Business Coaching and CFO Advisory services to SME clients
- Help business owners implement systems to remove themselves from day‑to‑day operations
- Work through structured programs including business foundations, systems, team building and profit improvement
- Facilitate 1:1 coaching, group sessions, workshops and ongoing monthly programs
- Analyse financial performance and provide clear commercial strategies for growth and efficiency
- Support clients to improve cash flow, profitability, planning and business structure
- Work closely with internal accounting and bookkeeping teams to deliver holistic outcomes
- Contribute to the rollout of a new "business freedom" coaching framework About You:
- CA or CPA qualified with 10+ years' Australian public practice experience
- Strong background in Business Advisory, CFO advisory or senior accounting leadership
- Ideally experience in business coaching, mentoring or client advisory at a strategic level
- Passionate about helping SME owners grow, scale and gain freedom in their business
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills with a natural coaching style
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development and relationship building
- IT‑savvy and confident using systems, data and technology to drive outcomes
- Comfortable working in a high‑trust, autonomous leadership environments The firm is also open‑minded in terms of background. This role may suit a senior practitioner looking for a more flexible or potentially part‑time arrangement, a Big 4‑trained accountant seeking a deliberate move into advisory and coaching, or someone who has previously owned or operated a business and now brings that real‑world commercial experience into a professional services environment.
