About the Role As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You will work closely with management and internal stakeholders to ensure accounts are processed accurately and efficiently. The position commences in a fulltime casual capacity with a view to permanent. Monday to Friday (8.00am
- 4.00pm) Key Responsibilities
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations and daily transaction processing
- Preparing invoices, payment runs, and expense claims
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Responding to supplier and customer account enquiries
- Assisting with general administrative duties as required
- Motor vehicle fleet management About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Solid Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
