What you'll be doing
- Design and develop new wheel products to meet customer specifications and industry standards
- Analyse product performance data and implement design improvements to enhance quality, safety and efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the production, quality and sales teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings and other documentation to support the engineering process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and engineering best practices
- Provide technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders as required What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in a product development environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, product development workflows and CAD software
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards and quality control processes
