Childcare Trainee (Broadmeadow)

We are looking for a nurturing and engaged education professional who would like to be part of a team of educators and teachers who are implementing an amazing program across the 0-5 ages. As a Certificate 3 trainee, we will provide you with the best possible framework to allow you to thrive in your new role!!

Our Darling street centre is the home to an expansive outdoor space that houses chickens, a bunny, a turtle, large gardens and a designated Art Shed. The Rumpus Room also has a designated, above ratio, outdoor educator to assist in creating inviting, meaningful outdoor spaces. We have a barista on staff every morning from 7:30
- 9:30, nothing beats a free warm coffee to start your day!!

Educators receive one rostered day off per month (that is booked in by you, rather than being planned for you). We believe that to support a mentally healthy workplace, educators should be able to choose when and how their leave is taken. This is done in open and honest conversations between the director and staff member. We also close for roughly two weeks over the Christmas period, covered partly by public holidays, and partly through your leave accruals, depending on educator preference.

Educators who have children at the centre also receive reduced child care fees at any of our Rumpus Room centres, helping educators take home more of their pay!

Our centre is made up of a close-knit group of educators who have incredible passion for the Early Childhood Education sector. We are huge advocates of child safety and believe that quality education in the early years creates a strong foundation for the child's future.
