Digital Production and Content Trainer Audio & Language Content SBS Audio is looking for an experienced Sydney-based trainer to design and deliver engaging, practical and inclusive learning that strengthens editorial practice, content production, digital capability and trusted journalism across our language teams. This role is classified as Level 3 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of $91,814
- $99,376). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework. Reporting to the Training and Editorial Standards Manager, the ALC Trainer will design and deliver practical, inclusive training for SBS Audio’s language teams. You will support producers, journalists and content makers to strengthen their editorial, production and digital skills across audio, online and social platforms. The role also supports onboarding, learning resources and consistent application of SBS’s editorial standards and workflows. Candidates must have full working rights and reside in Sydney to be eligible applicants. This role is offered on a full-time basis (contract till July 2028) and will be performed from our Sydney office, with flexibility aligned with SBS’s working arrangements. About you We are looking for someone who can turn editorial, production, and digital needs into clear, practical training that helps teams do their best work. You will bring:
- Experience designing and delivering training, coaching or workplace learning.
- Strong understanding of journalism, editorial standards, media production or digital publishing.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Confidence working with culturally and linguistically diverse teams.
- Solid stakeholder management and organisational skills.
- A practical, supportive and inclusive approach to building capability. Media experience is essential, with experience in a multilingual or multicultural environment highly regarded. Benefits
