Mechanical Engineering Technician
- Full-Time
Teterin Engineering is globally recognised for expert component reconditioning and rebuilds of large diesel and gas engines.
Main Responsibilities:
Assembling and installing mechanical systems- Engines and generators. Troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance of machinery. Maintaining records and monitoring the availability of parts. Training co-workers.
Main Duties:
Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical engine and power generation systems. Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs. Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records. Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies. Optimising mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings. Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant. Training co-workers on the secure and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment. Selecting tools and equipment. Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements. Collecting and analysing data.
Qualifications: Suitable certification or relevant experience
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a similar environment
Salary: $94k
- $110k
Pay: $94,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
