Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer (Newcastle)

- This is a full time, 6 month Fixed Term Contract as Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer._

The focus of this role is to accurately process and manage the payment of invoices, employee expense claims, corporate credit cards, claim related payments, commissions payable & receivable, creating invoices/RCTI’s & statements, debt collection, journals and month end activities, ensuring nib’s policies and procedures are followed at all times.

The successful person for this position will have previous experience in a similar role, with high volume processing and general ledger transactions.

Furthermore, we’re looking for:
- Proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry- Analytical skills including being able to identify, assess and solve problems- Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and time management skills- Able to communicate in a clear manner, both verbally and in writing- Work collaboratively within a team and independently- Experience using MS Excel, Outlook and accounting software, ideally Finance One
