Job Overview

Coates Digital Operations Centre is based at our head office in Mascot and is comprised of Digital Inbound Customer Support Officers. This position focuses on inbound customer enquiries via online channels such as e‑mail and our website.

Hourly rate: $35.17 Permanent full‑time position Weekday and possible weekend work – opportunity for penalty rates Shift: 8:00 am–4:00 pm (flexible and subject to change)

Key Responsibilities

Provide customers with product and service information Compile quotes, upsell and cross‑sell to convert opportunities into sales Liaise with the branch network to source equipment for customers Provide logistics support for equipment deliveries, transfers and pick‑ups Complete comprehensive training prior to servicing customers May be required to work weekends on a rotating roster

Required Skills & Qualifications

Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills are essential Ability to convey complex information clearly to a diverse customer base Experience using Outlook, sales and booking systems Proactive behaviour and ability to think outside the box for solutions Strong drive to convert quotes into sales Eager to continuously learn current things Interest in the construction, mining or engineering industries is a plus – training will be provided
