**What you'll be doing**
The Instructional Designer/Training Officer will be engaged as part of the Fusion transformation initiative including the Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SW LIMS) project and work closely with the Fusion Program Team and managers and staff within NSWHP.
The primary purpose of the roll is to develop, implement and maintain engaging and innovative learning solutions for eLearning, blended and face-to-face learning pathways and online educational resources to help support the training and adoption of Fusion digital health solutions. The role will also contribute to the provision of online and face to face training and adoption support to staff and clients who are required to use newly implemented systems.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in the development of instructional design in large-scale program or project environments across a variety of delivery methods.
- Proven history of designing and developing engaging learner focused training, including the use of digital tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond).
- Qualifications in adult learning (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) or software implementation and/or other relevant experience in learning and development to support transformation programs, including a thorough understanding of adult learning principles.
- Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) including excellent attention to detail, the ability to create clear and compelling training materials, deliver engaging training and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make practical and pragmatic recommendations to increase engagement and adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to be highly adaptable, self-motivated, work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment to meet objectives to tight deadlines
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
