Chef/Cook (MidCoast Council)

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Chef/Cook to join our agile team with the RSL Memorial Club Group. As a full‑time Chef/cook, you will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our valued customers. - Lake Cathie, Manning Point, Wingham and Dubbo What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our menu and customer requirements
- Ensuring all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to any customer inquiries or feedback What we're looking for
- Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient meal preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
