Cleaner / Administration Assistant Newcastle

We are currently seeking a Cleaner / Administration Assistant to work at the Newcastle Mater Hospital. You'll work as part of our supportive cleaning team to ensure the cleanliness of the hospital whilst providing genuine service and care to the patients, staff and visitors within the hospital. The Position Provide general administrative support (filing, marking up audits, covering shifts when staff call in sick) Provide skilled customer service Work Monday to Friday, a 38‐hour week (casual opportunity) Perform general hospital cleaning duties, including public area and ward cleaning, waste collection Assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital as requested Use cleaning machines Wash external surfaces and furniture The Person Excellent eye for detail and well presented Experience in an administrative role using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and iPad Able to work independently and as part of a team Remain calm under pressure in a fast‐paced environment Experience in a hospital or aged care cleaning environment and team leadership experience considered an asset; training will be provided for reliable applicants keen to learn The Perks Learning and development opportunities to grow within the role Discounts at hundreds of retail outlets, department stores, attractions, travel, cinemas, restaurants and more Ongoing training and development Recruitment and selection require a valid and current criminal record check and staff health clearance. #J-*****-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rej6u
