Location: Cameron Park Care Community, Cameron Park, Recent South Wales, Australia About the Role Weekend Chef in aged care is responsible for preparing high‐quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of older residents, including those with specialised diets. Working independently or with limited support, the Weekend Chef ensures meals are delivered on time, food safety standards are upheld, and the kitchen operates smoothly during weekend service. The role contributes directly to resident wellbeing, comfort, and quality of life. Support the Head and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations and food service. Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance. Step up and lead sections of the kitchen, developing your supervisory skills. Contribute ideas to menus and help create a dining experience that brings joy to our residents. What You'll Need Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
