Job Description We are currently seeking a Full Time Commis Chef to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis Chef you will work across breakfast, lunch and dinner, helping to create memorable culinary moments for our guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present menu items with variety and flair, within the cost margins specified by the hotel. Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, maintaining stock control procedures. Keep all working areas clean and tidy, including washing dishes and maintaining kitchen equipment. Report any problems to the Head Chef. Qualifications Trade qualification and experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant workplace. Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles. Exemplary communication skills. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to maintain high and consistent standards. Demonstrated ability to maintain food safety standards and understanding of HACCP. Availability to work across a 7‐day rotating roster, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
