OTIS is seeking 3 highly motivated Construction/Installation Electricians to join our Newcastle team and work across the Construction and Modernization areas of the business in regional NSW. Key Responsibilities Service and required repairs of lifts, escalators, and travelators in the Launceston, Devonport, and Burnie areas. Installation of recent equipment and modernization of lifts, escalators, and travelators, ensuring safety, environmental standards and delivery targets are met. Participate in a rotating after‐hours callout roster. Perform work in accordance with relevant codes, including SAA Lift Code AS**** and AS****, and comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures. Maintain company tools, equipment and materials, safeguarding such property. Attend customer hand‐over inspections and service inspections on installation and modernization projects where required. Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service or hand‐over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager/Local Representative. Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement. What You Will Need to Be Successful Hold an A‐Grade Electrical Licence with an Industry Construction Card and have experience in the elevator industry. Willing to travel between regional NSW. Have an uncompromising attitude, awareness, and adherence toward working safely in all situations. Enjoy communicating with various levels of stakeholders and working closely with others in the field team. Be solutions‐oriented, independent, and well‐organized. Can perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training. Able to plan and prioritise tasks and complete them on time.
