Territory Development Manager (Newcastle)

Position Title Territory Development Manager – DEWALT® Location Newcastle – Field Based, with circa 4–5 nights a month regional travel Employment Permanent The Job The role focuses on developing and driving distributor/store sales performance, building customer relationships, promoting products, engaging key sectors, identifying merchandising opportunities, collaborating across departments, conducting training and demos, and maintaining demonstration resources. Core Duties Developing and driving distributor/store sales performance. Developing customer relationships and growing market share. Promoting products through demonstrations and instructing both retail customers and end users in their use. Engaging with end users in key sectors such as agriculture and mining to promote products and identify their needs. Identifying in‐store incremental merchandising growth opportunities (off‐location). Developing stakeholder relationships and collaborating across departments. Conducting distributor and end user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in‐store, on end user sites, and at major trade events. Planning weekly and completing daily tasks in Salesforce, ensuring the calendar is up to date and accurate. Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories, and materials for demonstrations and training. The Person We seek candidates who love learning, embrace innovation, and bring enthusiasm for customer engagement and business development. Qualifications and Experience Previous customer engagement experience with a passion for selling and business development. Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users. The ability and interest to learn the specifications of the hardware industry. Solid planning skills and the ability to work in an autonomous environment. Experience or exposure in small engine mechanics is highly regarded.
