Glendun Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experience Earthmoving Plant Operator

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Plant Operator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy earthmoving machinery in a quarry environment, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating earthmoving machinery such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks to carry out excavation, feeding crushers and site preparation tasks.
• Carrying out routine pre-start checks, maintenance, and minor adjustments to ensure machinery is in safe and efficient working condition.
• Adhering to safety procedures, company policies, and WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards at all times, including the correct use of PPE and safe work practices.
• Monitoring ground conditions and site hazards to ensure stability and safety during operations.
• Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specification.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports on daily machine use, completed work, and any incidents or maintenance issues.
• Loading and unloading materials, moving earth, rocks, and other materials in line with project requirements.
• Ensuring efficient use of fuel, time, and resources to maximize productivity on-site.
• Assisting with general laboring or site duties when not operating machinery, as required.
• Able to load trucks with a loader in an efficient and safe manner
• Feed mobile crushing equipment in a steady manner
• Follow designated traffic management plans to ensure material is delivered to the correct stockpile

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Earthmoving Plant Operator in construction, mining, or civil works preferred.
• Competency tickets and/or relevant licences (e.g., excavator, loader, bulldozer, roller, grader).
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to understand instructions.
• Physically fit with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
