Business Development Manager, Perth - Mining Software …, Western Australia

Build your career with a global mining tech leader. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious BDM with 3–6 years’ experience who’s hungry to take the next big step in their career. If you love building pipelines, cracking open new accounts, and selling smart technology to serious mining players — this is your role. You’ll report to the Regional Operations Manager and be based in our Perth office. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll own the hunt, drive new business across APAC, and position Acquire as the go‑to partner for world‑class geoscience data management. What You’ll Bring:
- 3–6 years in B2B sales, BD, or account management (mining tech/SaaS a bonus)
- A proven hunter – you’re energised by prospecting and closing deals
- Confidence speaking with technical teams and senior execs
- Strong understanding of the mining/resources market
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Organised, self‑driven, and hungry to grow Nice to Have:
- Exposure to mining software, geoscience or operational technology
- Experience managing short to long term sales cycles
- Dynamics CRM experience a bonus
- Event and conference presence (IMARC, Diggers, RIU, etc.) What You’ll Do:
- Build and convert a high‑quality pipeline across mining customers
- Drive proactive outbound activity
- Deliver compelling product demos
- Lead proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Work closely with Technical Services, the Operations Team and Marketing
- Represent Acquire at conferences, trade shows, and customer events
- Keep CRM data tight, accurate, and insight‑driven
