- Part Time. FTE: Location: Fremantle. Closing Date: :30 PM. Starting : this is a permanent part-time position commencing Term 3, 2026. John Curtin College of the Arts (JCCA) is a leader in public education. The college serves about 1700 students from Years 7 to 12, including Gifted and Talented programs in the creative domain (Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music, Music Theatre and Visual Arts) and additional programs for learners gifted in the intellectual domain. The Arts program emphasises engagement and development of transferable life skills such as empathy, creative and critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. JCCA is a Quality Teaching Strategy Lead School and supports career development and collaboration with other Department of Education schools to enhance teaching quality across the state. The Role The Pathways Support Officer works alongside students to support engagement, wellbeing and participation in education by assisting with the delivery and coordination of college engagement and youth support programs. Under the direction of the Associate Principal and the College Engagement team, the officer actively engages with students and builds positive, professional relationships to deliver targeted programs and interventions. The role participates in team meetings, contributes to engagement focused projects, and acts as a resource within the college community. Accurate record keeping is an essential component of the role, including maintaining notes, databases and reports to support planning, monitoring and improved student outcomes.
