What Are We Looking For

A hard‑working and vibrant Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team across our Perth venues. We seek individuals passionate about producing outstanding quality food and providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring solid kitchen operations. Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of amazing food within a high‑volume restaurant and pub environment, teamwork, meticulous cleanliness and kitchen hygiene, delivery of food and service to Varsity’s standards, adherence to Australian legal requirements and contributing to overall business performance.

What Will You Be Doing On A Daily Basis? Ensuring all meals are cooked Varsity’s Way. Following our national recipes & plating guides. Ensuring all meals are served as quickly as possible and of the highest quality every time. Maintaining food safety and hygiene – our kitchen is always sparkling clean and well organised. Adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines. Allocating staff sections and secondary duties throughout shifts, and managing general kitchen operations with the Sous and Head Chef. Contributing to the Back‑of‑House Management team to improve current menu items and develop specials and limited‑time offer ideas. Managing stock ordering, delivery receipts and temperature log reporting.

Requirements Diploma qualification in a relevant field and/or 2–3 years of relevant work experience. Working rights required for this role.
