This is a rare opportunity to combine your trade expertise with a rewarding career in education — passing your skills on to the next generation of telecommunications technicians.ResponsibilitiesDeliver nationally recognised training in Open Registration cabling, structured cabling, and optical fibre installation and splicingAssess student competency against AQF and industry standardsDevelop and maintain practical training environments and infrastructureIdentify learner needs and provide tailored support throughout trainingEvaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to the resource development teamStay current with industry standards, technology changes, and regulatory requirements including ACMA and AS/CA standardsMaintain your own licences, registrations, and industry currencyRequirementsHands-on experience in structured cabling (copper and fibre), including installation, testing, and splicingTAE***** Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentDemonstrated experience in training, mentoring, or coaching others in a trade or technical environmentStrong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to learners at all levelsExperience delivering training in a formal VET or RTO settingFamiliarity with AQF competency-based assessmentKnowledge of current ACMA registration requirements and AS/CA cabling standardsExperience with fibre splicing, OTDR testing, and NBN infrastructureIf you're a qualified cabling and fibre professional ready to share your expertise and make a real impact, we encourage you to apply. #J-*****-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qkkrp
