Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the University’s financial performance framework, delivering high‑quality budgeting, forecasting and strategic insights to support Executive and governance decision‑making.
- Drive financial sustainability through strong leadership, trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders, and continuous improvement of financial systems, models and processes.
- Full‑time appointment on an ongoing basis.
- Base salary range: $153,165 – $159,132 p.a. plus 17% superannuation. Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a financial performance leader within a large, complex organisation, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance management.
- Solid strategic judgement and ability to interpret complex financial and operational data to provide clear, authoritative advice to senior executives and governance forums.
- Confident communicator skilled in translating financial insights into high‑impact advice and reports for diverse senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative leadership style with a proven ability to coach, develop and motivate professional teams while building trusted partnerships across the organisation.
- Highly organised and analytical, with advanced capability in financial systems, large data sets and continuous improvement of financial models, processes and frameworks.
