Total Connections is a WA-based hydraulic hose and fittings company delivering mobile service, fire suppression servicing, hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, vehicle loading crane major and minor services, lubrication systems, industrial hose solutions and specialised field service support across multiple industries. We are seeking an experienced ERP Developer / IT Manager to take ownership of our NetSuite ERP platform, internal business systems, workflow automation, integrations and broader internal IT operations. This is a senior, hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys solving operational problems, improving business systems, implementing automation, and helping drive technology improvements across a growing business. The successful candidate will oversee and maintain our existing NetSuite environment while continuing to develop and improve custom SuiteScripts, workflows, integrations and business systems across the organisation. This role will also work closely with senior management to advise on future technology direction, operational improvements, system upgrades, automation opportunities and implementation planning. This is not a corporate IT management role focused purely on infrastructure or helpdesk support. This is a practical, business-focused role where you will be directly involved in improving systems, automation and operational efficiency across the business. Hours of work: 7am to 4pm less 30 minute lunch break (42.5 hours per week). ???? About the Role This is a hands-on, office-based role responsible for managing and improving the company’s ERP platform, internal systems, automation processes and business technology. The role combines: NetSuite administration workflow automation API integrations business systems improvement internal IT management operational support You will take ownership of the company’s NetSuite environment and internal systems while working closely with management and operational staff to improve efficiency and support business growth. This is not an entry-level developer or IT support role. We are looking for someone experienced, proactive and capable of taking ownership of systems, identifying improvements, and managing projects with limited supervision. The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, automation, process improvement and practical business technology. NetSuite ERP & Development Develop, maintain and improve NetSuite customisations and internal systems Manage and maintain SuiteScript solutions primarily using SuiteScript 2.x Develop and support: Suitelets RESTlets User Event Scripts Client Scripts Scheduled Scripts Map/Reduce Scripts Workflow Action Scripts Build and maintain NetSuite workflows, approvals and automation processes Develop custom records, saved searches, dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools Maintain and improve integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems Troubleshoot system issues and improve ERP performance Maintain system documentation and development standards Assist with ERP upgrades, testing and implementation projects Systems Integration & Automation Manage API integrations and business automation projects Maintain and improve FastField mobile forms and integrations Develop and improve data synchronisation and automated processing Support CSV imports, exports and scheduled automation processes Coordinate website requirements and updates alongside internal website staff Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvement Assist with reporting and data visibility improvements across the business Internal IT & Technology Management Oversee internal business technology systems and applications Assist with Office 365 administration and support Assist with Google Drive / Google Workspace management Coordinate with external IT providers and vendors where required Support hardware, software and user systems across the business Assist with implementation of new technologies and systems Provide recommendations to senior management regarding: system improvements automation opportunities future technology initiatives software and hardware upgrades business systems strategy General Business Support Work closely with management, workshop, field service and administration teams Assist with improving operational systems and workflows Support practical problem solving across the business Take ownership of systems and continuously look for improvements Assist with future digital transformation and automation initiatives Required Suitelets RESTlets User Event Scripts Client Scripts Scheduled Scripts Map/Reduce Scripts Experience with FastField Mobile Forms Experience with ERP integrations and business systems automation Experience with Office 365 administration Experience with Google Workspace / Google Drive Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML and CSV processing Experience coordinating websites or web developers Experience managing IT vendors or MSPs Understanding of cybersecurity and business IT infrastructure Experience in industrial services, mining, construction, field service or trades environments Experience with reporting tools, dashboards and data analysis Experience improving operational workflows and systems ????
