About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Merchandise Manager you will focus on developing solid customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and retail customers; the focus of your role is to provide memorable experiences for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
Conduct counter sales while delivering exceptional customer service
Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
Maintaining safety processes
Assisting with merchandise campaign material
Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well‐presented store workplace
Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience in working in a team workplace and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. Knowledge of rural merchandise is desirable but not essential. In addition, you will demonstrate:
Effective verbal communication skills to build solid long‐term customer relationships
A proactive approach to work and practical organization skills
Excellent attention to detail
Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
A current driver's license is essential
MR License & forklift ticket is desirable
Familiar with water equipment advantageous
