As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our team and support our operations.

The Role

As the Procurement Officer, you will collaborate with the construction and estimating departments, and will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, tools, plant and equipment and services required for the business operations. You will play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships which is central to ensuring accurate cost control and efficient scheduling for the business.

Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, plant, equipment, and services Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors Coordinate and forecast procurement to facilitate operational requirements Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and budgets Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods Analyze spending data and identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

What We Are Looking For Experience in procurement and a sound knowledge of commercial plumbing materials, systems, suppliers, and subcontractors Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
