Customer Support Engineer (Western Australia)

Overview We are now seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer to be based in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading company in a key customer-facing position that is growing. Based in Western Australia, you will be a member of 17 Engineers nationally responsible maintenance of XRF, XRD and SPE instruments across Australasia. Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning and calibration
- Preventative maintenance work on instruments
- Responding to breakdown calls as required
- On call and weekend work may apply. This role involves extensive travel, at least 80% of your time both within Perth, remote mine sites and interstate, is the norm of this role. Occasional overseas travel may also be required. Job Requirements
- 5+ years of field service experience
- Advanced Diploma or above in Electronics, positive electro-mechanical skills
- West Australian serviceman’s radiation safety license would be an advantage
- The ability to travel at short notice
- Passionate about customer service
- X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction or neutron analysis experience would be an advantage We Offer
