Senior Educator (Western Australia)

Roles Early Childhood Senior Educator Location Perth region, WA – all centres located within Perth and surrounds in WA. Salary Range Senior Educators – $39.85 to $41.05 per hour + superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience). Employment Type Full-time Permanent Role Overview The Senior Educator will collaborate with peers to observe, inform and continuously improve educational programs, ensuring safety, inclusivity and compliance with National Quality Standards. Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
- Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
- Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high‑quality education in collaboration with the Education Leader.
- Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
- Contribute positively to delivering the Centre and business plans. Qualifications
- Senior Educator – Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
- Build and maintain solid, positive relationships with children and families.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
