As an Analytics Architect within our Data & AI Practice, you’ll leverage a client‑centric approach to translate our client’s business strategy into solutions and services that lead to successful, impactful outcomes. You’ll engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and contribute to shaping the strategic direction around data architecture. Together we do what matters. Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
- Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment – focusing on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies.
- Play a key role in the sales process with the responsibility for shaping high‑level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject‑matter experts.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire junior colleagues within your team and across the organization.
- Translate complex technical solutions into various formats: present to business decision makers, create engaging video or blog content, and provide battle‑card format content to internal sales teams.
- Engage in early conversations with the client and/or sales team to support origination and deal qualification, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Prepare and represent the solution in deal reviews and play an active role in oral presentations, client presentations, and negotiation discussions with key client buyers.
- Complete pricing using standard solution architecture processes, methods, estimating, and modelling tools to drive quality and minimize time to solution through process and reuse.
- Understand and leverage different pricing models and work with sales leads to articulate deal pricing, ensuring a deal is both winnable and deliverable while mitigating potential risks. Skills and Experiences
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and awareness of channels to market within the Microsoft and partner ecosystem to ensure customer success.
- High energy and intent to help clients understand product and service evolution, including Azure Foundry, Fabric and Co‑Pilot.
- Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Funding processes such as ECIF, GTM Solution Plays/Marketplace, and GTM Workshop Offers.
- Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high‑level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs involving platforming/re‑platforming data solutions within Azure cloud, utilizing tools such as Databricks and Synapse.
- Capability in creating design artifacts and presenting them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi‑disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior (“C level”) client executives.
- Experience in designing and delivering large‑scale data platform solutions using relevant approaches (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.).
- Identifying and designing for key architectural characteristics such as performance, security, and reliability. Characteristics that can spell success for this role
- Passionate about technology and engaging with and advising clients.
- Possessing an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or machine learning (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proven success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.
- Extensive experience with large complex enterprise accounts architecting cloud solutions for data estate workloads and implementing large‑scale data projects within the cloud environment.
- Recognized for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow‑through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence remote teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects.
- Enterprise‑scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.
