Sous Chef – Catering Operations Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support staff in maintaining a customer‑focused, secure and safe working environment in catering operations.
- Responsible for food service across breakfast, crib and dinner with a focus on providing food to the highest of standards.
- Run daily pre‑start checks for the Team.
- Maintain a strong safety culture in the kitchen.
- Support the Head Chef in leading and motivating the Team. Qualifications
- Trade Certificate, Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or full work rights.
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP.
- Experience in a high‑pressure, high‑volume environment desirable.
- Flexibility to work a variety of rosters and shifts.
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable.
- FIFO experience desirable.
- Bulk cooking experience essential. Benefits
- Salary above award rates – from $111,700.
- Superannuation allowance – $10,000.
- Additional allowance – $10,000 payable through weekly/fortnightly pay cycle.
- 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth.
